Les Rencontres de la Photographie 2016

Les Rencontres d'Arles has reached its 47th edition. The famous French photographic festival conceived by the photographer Lucien Clergue takes place this year from 4th July to 25th September, and, for the second time, will see Sam Stourdzé as its Artistic Director.
On the agenda are many exhibitions that will involve both emerging authors and artists of international renown, aimed to render a snapshot as complete as possible of the main changes taking place in the field of photography, without forgetting the authors and practices that have led the way and the new fields of competence of this language.
In addition there is also the usual extensive calendar of meetings, events and inaugurations mainly concentrated in the opening week (4th to 10th July 2016)
