Foto/Industria 2015

The city of Bologna holds the second edition of Foto/Industria, an international photography biennial focused on industrial photography, enterprise and work.
This year the festival offers fourteen exhibitions, with free admission, in which the passer-by can observe pics by David LaChapelle (Land Scape), Hong Hao (My Things - Scan), Edward Burtynsky (Manufactured Landscapes), O. Winston Link (Norfolk and Western Railways), Luca Campigotto (The Poetry of the Giants), Pierre Gonnord ((Others) Workers), Neal Slavin (Group Portraits), Gianni Berengo Gardin (Man, work, machine), Kathy Ryan (Office romance), Jason Sangik Noh (Biography of Cancer), Hein Gorny (New Objectivity and Industry Collection regard), Léon Gimpel (Illuminations, Paris, 1925 Société Française de Photographie), Óscar Monzón and the others GD4Photoart Competition finalists. Twelve exhibits are on display in prestigious locations of the historic city centre, while two exhibitions are at the MAST, curated by Urs Stahel, among which appears From Albums to Photobooks. Italian Industry in 120 volumes Savina Palmieri Collection. It is also envisaged an ample calendar of meetings with the artists, conferences, screenings, kids workshops, guided tours and performances.
Foto/Industria 2015 is promoted and organized by the MAST Foundation in collaboration with the City of Bologna and with the artistic direction of François Hébel, historical artistic director of Les Rencontres d'Arles. More information are available here.
